Fortunately, with some easy steps to follow and some common household cleaning items, your vinyl-sleeved high school varsity jackets will look like new.
To begin, fill a washbasin with four cups of water mixed with one squirt of liquid dish-washing soap. A liquid dish-washing soap is a very effective tool to specifically clean your vinyl high school varsity jackets as it can easily strip away any dirt or oil build-up without harming the fabric.
Get a clean cloth and dip it in the soapy water and wring out all the excess water, leaving you with just a damp cloth. Using the cloth, wipe over the sleeves of the jacket and keep repeating until the soil has been removed. If in the instance that the soil persists, pour a capful of liquid bleach into the soapy water.
Again, dip in the wet cloth and completely wring out. Wipe over the soiled area until removed and repeat as needed. When you are done, get another clean, damp cloth to clean up any excess soap or lather on the sleeves.
